Do I need to install an agent?
For host graphs, yes. Run the one-command install shown during setup on your Linux server, and the host appears in your dashboard once it starts reporting. From there, review its metrics and create alert rules. The same host view works for Docker hosts and Linux machines running cPanel.
Where can alerts be sent?
Alerts can go to email, Discord or webhook. Each rule combines a threshold with a duration, such as CPU above 85% for five minutes, so the right people hear about sustained problems. Read about server alerts for rule examples and channel setup.
Can CloudStats check websites too?
Yes. Alongside host graphs, you can watch whether a site responds over HTTP(S) and when its certificate is due to expire. These checks answer a different question from agent metrics, because a healthy host can still serve a broken page. Start with website monitoring to choose the checks you need.
