Summary#
You sign in to CloudStats in the CloudStats app, not through the Linux agent. If you cannot remember your password, request a reset from the forgot-password page. If you do not receive the email, or you still cannot sign in, contact CloudStats support. Do not send your password, a reset link, or any one-time code in chat or email unless a human support person has asked you for a specific safe detail.
Prerequisites#
- The email address you use for your CloudStats account
- A browser that can open the CloudStats app
The Linux agent does not sign you in and cannot reset your password.
Open the CloudStats sign-in page:
https://app.cloudstats.me/sign-in
Enter your account details there. After you sign in, you can add servers, review metrics, and manage alert rules.
This page does not list every possible sign-in method. Use the options shown on the sign-in page.
Reset your password#
If you cannot sign in, open the forgot-password page:
https://app.cloudstats.me/forgot-password
Request a password reset with the email address for your account. If CloudStats sends a reset message, use the link in that message to set a new password. Then sign in again from https://app.cloudstats.me/sign-in.
Keep the reset link private. Do not forward it, paste it into tickets, or share it in chat.
Expected behavior#
- Sign-in and password reset happen in the CloudStats app.
- Installing, updating, or restarting
cloudstats-agenton a Linux host does not change your website password. - A forgot-password request uses the email address you enter on that page.
Troubleshooting and limitations#
| Situation | What to do |
|---|---|
| You cannot remember your password | Use https://app.cloudstats.me/forgot-password |
| You do not receive a reset email | Check spam and forwarding. If the message still does not arrive, contact CloudStats support. Do not keep guessing or sharing codes. |
| You receive a reset email | Open the link yourself and set a new password. Do not send that link to anyone. |
| Sign-in still fails after a reset | Contact CloudStats support. Describe what you see on the page; do not send your password. |
| You need help with the Linux agent instead | See Troubleshooting. Agent problems are separate from website sign-in. |
CloudStats support can help when a reset email is missing or sign-in fails.
Do not share:
- Your password
- A password-reset link or token
- Any one-time code
